Gibeon Education offers a wide range of classes and programs! Book specifically themed classes that grab your attention or general curriculum classes that fulfill your student’s required credits. Our summer programs are designed to educate and engage your students when traditional classes are not running. We always keep our class sizes small – so rest assured your student will receive our full attention!

Dive into the fascinating world of life sciences with this rigorous, college-level AP Biology course. Designed for motivated high school students, this course explores the core principles of biology including cellular processes, genetics, ecology, micro evolution, and biological systems. Through hands-on labs, interactive lessons, and critical thinking exercises, students will develop a deep understanding of the scientific process and prepare for success on the official AP Biology Exam. Whether your student is looking for college credit, getting a head start on college gen eds, or just wanting a deeper dive into biology, this is a great course.
- Target grades: high school
- Pre-requisites: general biology and chemistry
- Length of the whole class: 30 weeks
- Length of sessions: 1.5 hours
- Homework: Gibeon Education will grade all homework, tests, and projects. A grade sheet will be given to parents at the mid-term and end of the course.

- total cost: $16/hour + one-time $35 lab fee per student
- deposit: a $50 deposit will be required to secure a place on this course. The $50 will be paid towards the total cost.
- Payment options: monthly, per semester (5% discount) or per year (10% discount). Regardless of payment option chosen, all students will be committed to registering for the whole year.

Algebra I

Take the stress out of learning math this year and join us in our interactive exploration of Algebra I! We will cover 4 chapters of the text book each week. The first few lessons review pre-algebra topics and there will be review built in throughout the course. Saxon algebra I incorporates geometry topics and is great preparation for both geometry and algebra II. Our Algebra teacher, Tracey, has been teaching algebra for 30 years and takes time to help students with any underlying math-concept problems. Classes will be interactive and engaging, with opportunities for students to discuss any homework difficulties.
- Target grades: middle or high school
- Pre-requisites: pre-algebra
- Length of the whole class: 32 weeks
- Length of sessions: 1 hour
- Homework: Gibeon Education will grade tests and projects. A grade sheet will be given to parents at the mid-term and end of the course. Homework concepts will be reviewed as a whole class during the session. Parents are responsible for the grading of their student’s homework.
- Required materials: Saxon Algebra I 3rd edition textbook and solutions manual

Home-school kit (textbook, solutions manual, test packets, and DVDs of lessons) can be purchased here. Only the textbook and solutions manual need to be purchased for this course.

Starts Fall 2025! Join us each week to learn about engineering through hands-on activities and games! Students will design, build, operate, trouble-shoot, and improve their creations. This course will teach students to apply what they know about science to create real, working machines.
- Target ages: 8-12 years
- Length of the whole class: 32 weeks, 8 units (4 sessions per unit)
- Length of units: 4 weeks (1 session per week)

SAT Prep Class

Dates
Each class consists of 12, 2-hour sessions, a pre-test, a post-test, and one individual review meeting. Sessions meet twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 PM. The pre- and post-tests will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The individual review meeting will be a 15-minute slot chosen by the student.

Design-your-own Class
More Information
Do you have a class in mind that you would love your students to take? If you have an idea, we can teach it! Design the class of your dreams! Design-your-own classes can include standard curriculum classes (such as Math, English, or Science) OR can be custom-made unique classes (such as ‘Rocket Science for Beginners’ or ‘The Chemistry of Baking’). Let us know your idea and we will work with you to make it a reality!
Every class has a three-student minimum to run.
